Tomorrow’s Guild Meeting

Hope to see everyone at our guild meeting tomorrow. Here are a couple of reminders….

Ellie Grix will have some fabric for sale (benefiting Linus) from 9:30-10:00, during the break and following our program.

Final payments for the Retreat are due tomorrow.

Our program will feature 5 member led stations where you will have a chance to learn several different techniques. It should be a fun time!

And, of course, we will have our usual Show & Tell time.

Pillowcases, October 2024

Hello,  happy quilters! I hope you are easing back to normal after a difficult aftermath of the storm.

Here are the dates for October for our meetups at Lake Mayer: every Thursday from 12:30-3:30 for quilting. Also, Fridays October 11, and 18 for sewing of pillowcases from 10:00 til 2:00.

We will not be cutting fabric, only sewing the pillowcases. Please bring your machine, thread, scissors, pins and your lunch. Frances and Lanette will be available to answer questions.

We are also in need of solid fabrics to make cuffs to go with fabric that has been donated. We are also looking for holiday fabrics suitable for children as we ready the kits for the next couple of months. Thank you all for your donations and help. Debbie

Project Linus, October Fabric Sale

Hello guild members,

At the October meeting, I will have some fabric for sale, with all proceeds benefitting Project Linus of Savannah / Hilton Head! Everything is priced at $4/ yard or less, including some fun 3-yard kits for $12, printed panels for $2, and fat quarters for $1/each.

I can accept payments in cash, check (payable to “Project Linus” with “Savannah/ Hilton Head Chapter” in the memo line), and certain online payments.

See you next week!

Scam Email From Savannah Quilt Guild

This afternoon an email was sent to Carol Richards (see the photo below). This email is titled Savannah Quilt Guild and the sender is supposedly from me, Kim Hayes. The email address that this was sent from is NOT my gmail account. It is NOT from the Savannah Quilt Guild. We are Not supporting veterans through hospice. The Guild would never try to solicit money from members in this manner. I sincerely hope that this is an isolated incident. Kim
