Crocheters for Linus meet this Thursday
Hi, Crocheters and Project Linus Lovers,
Come join us at The PARC for our Crocheters for Linus meeting. The meeting will be held this Thursday, the 23rd of April at 1:00 pm. Future meetings will be held at the same location on the 4th Thursday of the month at 1:00 pm.
The April meeting will be focused on making sample borders on small fleece rectangles. We don’t want anyone to get bored doing the same stitch on every fleece blanket for the kids! Do your research for a new stitch, make up a new border stitch or use your favorite stitch combinations to create your sample for our members.
Also, helpers are available to assist new members get started on their stitches. If you are a crocheting pro or a beginner and have a passion for making kids warm and cozy, please come join us. Just email me at the email address below.
The PARC is located at 425 Pennsylvania Avenue, 912-651-4211. Please email to let me know you will be there!
Thanks,
Renee Christensen, rippinrenee@gmail.com

Magnetic cutting mat
DYI…magnetic cutting mat. I already had the Martelli mat. I got a 18×24 piece steel $15 (Lowe’s heating duct dept). I taped the edges..they are sharp. I bought magnets, magnetic bowl at Harbor Freight for under $4.
Not bad for $20. Goggle magnetic cutting mats and thank me later.
