January Modern Bee Meeting

The Modern Bee will be meeting Wednesday, January 15 from 1-4 at the Talahi Community Center (532 Quarterman Road). Remember there’s a $3 room rental fee.

We will be having a workshop on Minimalist Modern Quilting. Bring your sewing machine and coordinated fabric for little quilt “sketches”. The fabric can be either bold, high contrast or subtle minimal colors. However, it’s best if it’s either: 1) solids; or 2) low volume prints; or 3) a combo of the two.

Also, bring your round robin quilts (in whatever shape) and any other things for show and tell.

See you on the 15th.

February 2025 Workshop!

Landscape quilts are easy and fun to make. Each one is distinctively different. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of landscape quilting using your scrap fabrics.

• Sewing machine
• Scrap fabrics
• Straight pins
• Scissors
• Rotary cutter
• Thread for sewing machine: minimum bring grey other colors are always nice to have.
This is an example. Yours will be unique.
