This afternoon an email was sent to Carol Richards (see the photo below). This email is titled Savannah Quilt Guild and the sender is supposedly from me, Kim Hayes. The email address that this was sent from is NOT my gmail account. It is NOT from the Savannah Quilt Guild. We are Not supporting veterans through hospice. The Guild would never try to solicit money from members in this manner. I sincerely hope that this is an isolated incident. Kim

The Appliqué Bee will meet Tuesday September 24 1 -4 at the Center Parc Credit Union community room 5698-A Ogeechee Rd Savannah.  There will be a Sashiko workshop led by Cat Allard this month.  Sashiko is a form of decorative stitching from Japan.  You do not have to participate in the workshop to attend.  If you are taking the workshop bring scissor, a marking pencil for dark fabric and a thimble if you use on for hand stitching.  All other items will be provided.

There are only 3 seats left on the bus.  Price is $45 cash or money order (no checks or credit cards).  Price includes entry to the fair.  Get over to Lake Mayer right away of you want one of those 3 remaining seats!!!!!!!

Let’s bring our round robin shapes quilt, compare where we are at…..and decide on the next subject/style to explore as a group.   Ring ideas and projects to inspire the group. Everyone is welcome to join us.
