The Modern Bee will once again be meeting at the Talahi Island Community Center (529 Quarterman Dr.) Everyone welcome! We’re going to be starting a new challenge. (Although anyone still working on the last one should just come along and keep sewing.) The new one is focused on modern quilt sketches — little 8X10 improv creations. Since it’s new, we’ll be spending time exploring ideas, existing quilts, and other inspiration. If you’re ready to sew bring your machine and fabric. Or maybe you’ll just be sketching a draft quilt and testing fabrics. This is a start. In any case there will be lots of opinions to get you started. If you’re new to the group, this will be a great time to join.
