Great News! 

Our September guild meeting will be live in person!!

The time will be the same as in the past (9:30-sign and social distance mingling; 10:00-meeting, show and tell and tell and the program-no refreshments will be served). 

The place will be Southside Baptist Church, 5502 Skidaway Road (one block south of the intersection of Skidaway Rd and DeRenne Avenue) in the Community Outreach Center. The room that we will be meeting in is quite large.

We will need a head count in order to adequately prepare the seating for healthy social distancing. Please respond to the evite that will be sent out in the next day or two.

Don’t forget Your Show and Tell and your Challenge Quilt!

For those who do not feel comfortable attending the meeting we will try to offer an alternative (Zoom?). More details will be shared when a plan is finalized.

Our monthly guild meeting is approaching……this Saturday, August 8th! (On Zoom)

The waiting room will open at 9:30 and the meeting will begin at 10:00.  Our program will be the 2014 CAG Quilt Exhibit.  The presentation (created by Fred Langley) features many beautiful quilts as well as the smiling faces of many of our members, past and present.

Good morning ladies!  Here is your monthly newsletter for August.  Check out the info for the 2021 retreat at St. Christopher’s on page 8.  It tells you how to register for the retreat now.

Also, there is a detailed listing of workshops coming up.  Who knows, we may be zooming a workshop if we can’t meet in person!

Y’all,  as you know or may not know Jack is now 2! According to the military regulations he needs to wear a mask on our flight overseas. I would make him a couple if I had my sewing machine. My ask is if someone would make him a couple of masks. I’m willing to pay you for your time/materials. If you need measurements from me, let me know. piper.bazemore@gmail.com

We haven’t got any info about leaving yet but want to start now getting him used to wearing one so he isn’t losing his mind on the flight.
