July 10, 2021 Guild Meeting
Remember our Guild Meeting this Saturday 10 July 2021 at South Side Baptist Church. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall this month. When you look at the Building from the parking lot there is a breezeway to the left there will be signs directing you to the Fellowship Hall from the breezeway. As usual social time is from 9:30 am to 10:00 am with the meeting starting promptly at 10 am. There is no program or after meeting workshop as we will be enjoying our July Luncheon. Please remember your nametag, and show and tell. A special note…Wanda Lucus’ family has donated some of her stash to the guild. These items will be placed on the take-it table. Feel free to browse the table and take anything you wish. Items left at the end of the meeting will be donated to Starlandia. I’m looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday. Be safe with this storm coming in today.

Wear Pink to honor our Pink loving Wanda
St Peters is the name of the church on Skidaway!
Rebecca, Wanda’s daughter, called and wanted to make sure that our quilters know about the place and time of the funeral. It is at St Peters, not St Francis as was reported by mistake earlier.
Deacon Wanda Lucas, a longtime Deacon in the Episcopal Church passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital after suffering a stroke on Monday, June 14, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 3 W. Ridge Road on Skidaway Island in Savannah.
