June 15th Weekend Warriors (1-4pm)
Good morning Quilters.
The Weekend Warriors will be meeting on June 15, 2024 from 1:00 P.M to 4 P.M. at the Talahi Community Center.
The Weekend Warriors do not have team projects to work on, so simply bring anything you currently have under your needle, or any UFOs that have been waiting for you for a while to be finished.
I do have to set up the room for us so let me know if you are attending. I will send out a separate invitation to Weekend Warriors who have expressed participation where you can reserve your table.
And last but not least, remember to bring $3.00 for the room fee 🙂
Looking forward to seeing you.

Project Linus Make-A-Blanket Day and Donation Information
Hello, Quilt Guild Members! Thank you so much for your support of Project Linus!
Just a reminder to sign up for the July 6 Make-A-Blanket Day here: https://forms.gle/4UJPp9dpxQF8PkjZ6 (You can change your response later if you’re a “maybe).
We’ll be making fleece blankets this time around, rather than quilted tops. We’re making blankets in two styles: Fringed, and Crocheted Border!
For you new members, Project Linus is an international charity that is dedicated to providing blankets to children in need! All blankets must be new, handmade, allergen-free, and a minimum of 36″ square. They can be quilted, crocheted, knitted, or fleece!
You can sign up for my newsletter and find more information about materials and drop-off sites here: https://mailchi.mp/9f4a1cd301bf/project-linus-of-savannah-and-hilton-head
Thanks again for your support! I hope to see you at the July 6 event!

June 8 Meeting
Hi Everyone! Tomorrow is our monthly guild meeting. I apologize for a very last minute reminder. We are still signing up for our July luncheon and Game Day from Chicken Salad Chick. The cost is $15 payable by cash, check, Venmo and Zelle. We also needed to switch up the agenda and have the program first, followed by our meeting then show and tell. Social time starts at 930. See you then! Kim
Pillowcases at Lake Mayer June 2024
Hi, All. We are able to use the building at Lake Mayer on June 7th and the 28th for sewing pillowcases. We have cut all the fabric that was donated by guild members, Starlandia, and some that we were able to buy. We have kits ready for the meeting, but have no more fabric to cut. If you have any fabric you would be able to donate, we are in dire need in order to keep going. There have been many donations and many pillowcases made and we are so grateful. Happy sewing. Debbie
