Recently serviced Bernina 1130 for sale. Works fine with a couple of glitches: the bobbin winder doesn’t work, but wait…I am including an external bobbin winder in the price!! And the power cord doesn’t retract as it should. (Oh rats!) Also included is a walking foot for the machine and a CD with instructions for the machine. All for the lovely price of $200 or best offer. Contact Judy Saucerman at 912-247-9987. I will bring it to you if you are in Savannah/Pooler.
Vintage Singer Touch n Sew available
This sewing machine has been donated to the guild. It is in working order and has a very nice stitch. It is an all metal gear drive machine. You can view information and manuals online. If you would like to adopt this lovely (but heavy) beauty let me know. I can bring it to the June meeting for pickup.

Pillowcase project June 2025
Hi, all! Hope all your projects are going well! I delivered 200 pillowcases to the hospital on Thursday. Thank you for the hard work. We have had some great fabric donations so we have lots of kits made up for you to sew.
We will have our drawing for the prize at the June guild meeting, so be sure to put your name in the jar when you turn in your pillowcases.
Due to maintenance work, we only have one day scheduled at Lake Mayer, June 13th from 10-2. Thank you, again for all you do for the children❤️. Debbie Whiteway (wahoodeb@gmail.com), 804-513-9658.

May Handwork Bee Reminder
Reminder of the May 21 Meeting of the Modern Bee
Just a quick reminder that the Modern bee is meeting this Wednesday from 1-4 at the Talahi Community Center. We’re starting our circle challenge, My last note said you don’t need to bring a machine but do bring one if you’d like because you probably will have time to get started. So machine and fabric are fine. If you’re a detailed planner you might want to spend the whole time in quilt design. As usual with modern things, you can do what you like best. See you Wednesday at 1. Let me know if you have any questions.
