We have two exciting things happening tomorrow. Marilyn Smith is displaying her quilts at a booth in the Thrive Craft Show. It starts at 10:00 am to 2:00 pm tomorrow, Friday the 18th. Thrive Senior Center on Skidaway Island. 5 Lake St, Savannah, GA 31411
The other fun thing is Mary will be helping us finish our Triaxial Weaving attempts 🙂 at the Friday Sew Bee. Judy King will open the center at 10:00 am for Sew Bee members who are not attending the craft show. At 11:00 am Mary will be at our Sew Bee to help others with Triaxial Weaving. Well, Triaxial Weaving was a 10 on the scale of challenging patterns for some of us today! The first and second strips went well and then the third strip called for constant supervision. If only we could have cloned Mary!

I have included a few tutorials that will help you achieve success in creating tumbling blocks. The first one has a great way of showing the backwards z pattern that helps to guide you to the correct weaving of the tumbler blocks.
Earlene Rusden, one of our honorary members (and past president) passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022. There will be a gravside service Monday, October 10 at 11:00 at Greenwich Cemetary. Our condolences go out to her daughter JoAnn, also a former of our guild.
