Saturday August 16th – Weekend Warriors open sew

Hi fellow quilters,

the weekend warriors are going to meet for some sewing fun on Saturday August 16th at the Talahi Community Center from 1pm through 5pm.

Please confirm your attendance by sending me a text message with your name and remember that the Community Center is asking for $3.00/person usage fee (we do crank the A/C quite a bit during the summer :).

Bring any project you like to work on, this is an ‘open sew’ group and despite our newsletter stating this group is for those members still in the workforce, this group is for all members, just sewing on the weekend instead of during the week.

Brown Bag

Hi all,

I could not make it to the August meeting to pick up some brown bags for the UFO exchange so I am trying to find out how I can get a hold of a couple of bags.

Does anyone know who has the remaining bags or is holding them, so I can pick some up before our September meeting?

7/19 – Weekend Warriors sew-in

Hi All,

The Weekend Warriors will be meeting on July 19th at Talahi Community Center from 1-5pm. Bring any type of project you want to work on.

Send me a note if you like to come and sew, I’ll be happy to set up a table for you.

Talahi is asking for a $3.00 fee from each participant, so bring cash.

This sew-in is open to everyone – hope to see you Saturday.
