Knot Just a Pouch October Workshop

Who’s ready to turn two neckties into a stylish zipper pouch?

Sign up this Saturday at the Guild meeting with Terry Duncan. The workshop will be held after the October meeting and the fee is $20—which includes a FREE project kit.

Your FREE kit includes:

  • Two coordinating men’s ties

  • Fusible
  • Iron-on fleece

  • Zipper

How it works:

  • Register & pay with Terry at the September meeting.

  • Choose your kit on the spot—each combo is different.

  • You’ll receive a prep & tips sheet by email to help you plan your pouch.

This pouch is perfect for travel essentials, hand-work supplies, chargers, or as a memory piece made from meaningful ties. Front and back can be different, so play with a favorite block, simple strips, or your own improv design. I’ve included a graph paper template to help you plan.

Spots are limited—sign up Saturday, grab your kit, and get ready to make something that’s Knot Just a Pouch.

Project Linus Make a Blanket Day: October 4

Hello, Guild Members!

Project Linus is going to host a “Make A Blanket Day” on Saturday, October 4. We’ll be making fleece blankets this time, not quilts, so no need to bring a sewing machine!

The fleece blankets will be in two styles: “no-sew” fringed blankets, and fleece with a crocheted border. If you’re an experienced crocheter, just getting started, or always wanted to learn, crocheted border blankets are a fun and easy project to make.

For more information, and to RSVP, click here: https://forms.gle/jocDkfA5eKeMiK6E6

Hope to see you there!
