Hi fellow quilters,

the weekend warriors are going to meet for some sewing fun on Saturday August 16th at the Talahi Community Center from 1pm through 5pm.

Please confirm your attendance by sending me a text message with your name and remember that the Community Center is asking for $3.00/person usage fee (we do crank the A/C quite a bit during the summer :).

Bring any project you like to work on, this is an ‘open sew’ group and despite our newsletter stating this group is for those members still in the workforce, this group is for all members, just sewing on the weekend instead of during the week.

All,

I will bring additional bags for the September meeting if we have some who were not able to pick up in August.

Please bring your UFO and be ready to put it in a bag immediately so it is available to be adopted by all of our brave quilters during the meeting in September.

So glad to see all the excitement….I might need to purge something myself.

Hi all,

I could not make it to the August meeting to pick up some brown bags for the UFO exchange so I am trying to find out how I can get a hold of a couple of bags.

Does anyone know who has the remaining bags or is holding them, so I can pick some up before our September meeting?
