Just a note to remind you that the modern Bee will be meeting this Wednesday February 21 1-4 at the Talahi Island Community Center (532 Quarterman Dr.). Everyone invited.

We will be continuing on our track of designing improv quilts.  This workshop will be based on the work of Cindy Grisdella and her “Blue Puzzle” quilt. Bring the following supplies:

1. A sewing machine and standard sewing supplies (including a ruler 6 1/2″ or larger and a rotary cutter); and
2. Fabric of your choice which may be based on multi-colored scraps or a palette of coordinated colors.

Also bring along your work from past meetings, either finished or in progress for others to see. If you’ve come across interesting things on modern quilting, bring that along as well.
