The Modern Bee will be meeting again Wednesday February 21 from 1-4 at the Talahi Island Community Center (532 Quarterman Dr.). Everyone interested in modern quilting is welcome.
This month we’ll be having a workshop on another approach to modern improv quilting. This workshop will be based on the work of Cindy Grisdella, specifically her “Blue Puzzle” quilt which includes multiple block types created using a log cabin style. You can see this quilt and more on her website.
Workshop supplies:
- A sewing machine and standard sewing supplies (including a ruler and a rotary cutter);
- A variety of fabric of many colors of your choice (scraps, fat quarters, things from your stash).
If you have things made from last month’s workshop, bring them along to share.
