1. Bring your sewing machine
2. small cutting mat
3. rotary cutter
4. ruler.  (If you happen to have a 10” or 10.5” square ruler that would be handy too!)
5.  Layer cake
6. 10″ squares of of a single contrasting color (example: solid black, white or a blender (tone on tone).
