EXCLUSIVE WORKSHOP “Beach Love” is a mini mosaic 8″x10″ canvas art.  There is no sewing, so it’s fun for both sewists and non-sewists alike. It’s a virtual 3 hour workshop using Zoom.  The  workshop fee ($40) includes the class and the complete kit and shipping in the US.  You can choose to use one component or all three.  You can decorate the canvas or leave it plain.  In class I will go over how to create the mosaics, words, decorating the canvas and attaching it to the canvas. The kit includes the canvas, pattern, cut up fabric and SAS. There is an Admin from Junto Space who will help you if there are any technology issues.  We’ll be using breakout rooms to make the class more intimate.You can get to meet new friends and be able to ask lots of questions! “Beach Love” will only be offerred in this virtual workshop for 2020. Hi, all you sheltering ladies!

It was so good to see many of you during the Zoom SQG Meeting on the 9th.  What a fun way to feel connected even though we can’t meet in person right now.  Mary’s program was terrific!  What a relief that the Powerpoint Presentation she made works seamlessly with Zoom.

Good news has arrived today.  Gayl Glover has sent her new address and phone number in South Carolina and has been added to the website and the updated Membership List 2020.  The Membership List has a Portrait View and a Landscape View.  Just click on the one you want and download it to your computer or tablet.  (If you have any problems with clicking on it and it doesn’t show, turn off your pop up blocker or security settings just while you are retrieving the list.)

Please check your info in the Membership List to make sure that we have the correct information to contact you.

I’ve procrastinated finding a pattern for a baby shower quilt that needs to be done by the end of the month.  Does anyone have a pattern with a polar bear?  I’ve looked on line and couldn’t find anything I liked.

Has anyone else subscribed to the National Quilters Circle? They had a terrific price reduction to only $3 for a year. Now I get emails to upgrade for $6.99 a year to the GOLD membership.

It appears to be is a slick operation and not sure I can put up with constant communication.

Anyone have thought or experience with them?
