Quilter’s Message

Don’t forget our Guild Meeting on Saturday May 8,2021 at South Side Baptist Church. Social time begins at 9:30 and our meeting begins promptly at 10 am. The program this month is Cheri Loffler and her beautiful applique quilts. You won’t want to miss it. In the after meeting workshop this month we will be making Design Boards. I’m looking forward to seeing you there.

The deadline for sign up for the May after-meeting workshop, Design Boards with Cindy Ochoa, is Friday, April 16th.  It appears the sign-up sheets didn’t make it around the room at our April meeting.

If you want to attend the May workshop, please contact me at maxwellsgal@aol.com with your first & last name and your email address.   That information will allow me to send out the supply list and the instructions for making the fabric trim before the day of the workshop. This project does not require a sewing machine.

The fee for this workshop is $20.00 (non-refundable).  Your check can be mailed to Theresa Sapp at 1531 Wilmington Island Road, Savannah,  GA  31410.

Get your popcorn and a drink for the video from, Stephanie Hackney on Hobbs Batting.  Stephanie held a Zoom session at our April’s Saturday meeting.  It is full of information that should make choosing your batting an easier decision.  The session was recorded and is now on the website under the SQG Programs page.  It is a long one so fill your popcorn bowl to the top!
