Quilter’s Message

Hello,

Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend Lanette’s workshop.  The date change caused me to be double-booked and my husband gets priority!  So, if you’re on the waiting list, there’s an opening!

If you gave Lanette Edans a quilt to take up to the state fair, Judy King will be picking them up on the 20th of October. She will have your quilts on Friday the 22nd of October at the Talahi Island Community Center from 10 am to 2 pm and at the Guild meeting on 23 October. If you are unable to pick up your works of art on either of these days, please get in touch with Judy King to arrange retrieve your property.

Due to a tragedy in the South Side Baptist Church family, all activities at the church have been canceled. Our October guild meeting will be postponed until Saturday October 23, 2021. Please keep the families of South Side Baptist Church in your prayers. The guild board will meet as scheduled on October 6, 2021 at Talahi Island Community Center at 1 pm.

You will need for the 9 October workshop the following items.

1. Sewing machine
2. Bobbins with odd colored thread so you can see your work…don’t wind new bobbins just bring what you have.

3. If you have any 2 1/2 strip for practice work bring them.
