Saturday Jan 8th

The Executive Committee of the SQG Board has decided that with the upswing in the Omicron variant, and the post-holiday travels and or out of town visitors, we are cancelling Saturday’s SQG meeting.  We hope all stay well and we are looking forward to our February meeting on the 12th.  Peace and Blessings to you all, Laurel

Winner of the Friday Sew Bee Quilt

The drawing for the Talahi Community Center raffle quilt was held December 1st during a Hot Chocolate Social held at the community center.  The Friday Sew Bee donated the quilt to benefit the flooring fund for the center.  Josh, age 10, drew the winning ticket.  The winner is Giny O’Reilly who lives on Talahi.  I dropped off the quilt on the way home that night and Giny was thrilled that she won.  This quilt went to a quilt loving home and will be appreciated and loved!

Thanks to all of you who bought raffle tickets.  The community center is such a great place for our Friday Sew Bee and this is our way of giving back to their generosity to our group.  Special thanks to Judy King and Marilyn for the wonderful idea of donating this lovely Quilt.
