We will be meeting in our regular room on Friday for the Sulky Class with Nancy Sapin.  Saturday’s guild meeting will be in our old spot – the community outreach center. We will be setting up after 8am on Friday so you can come early and set your station up and then help us. Parking is behind the building as normal. Class will run from 9am to 4pm.

Please remember to with you – your name tag, extension cord, lunch, water/drinks and snacks.  We will break for lunch at noon.  Nancy also asks that you bring a couple of fabric/batting/fabric samples to use for our exercises.  Any size that sings to you.  She also mentioned that the free motion, spring-type darning/quilting foot is important.  It was on your supply list. I have the hoops that were ordered through me.

Nancy is bringing Sulky items for sale both Friday and Saturday so remember your credit card/check.  Sulky is giving us a 25% discount on sales.

Special instruction for our Saturday meeting

Our meeting will be held in the Community Outreach Center at Southside Baptist Church instead of the fellowship hall. We will need to park behind the Community Center due to a funeral that may require the majority of the regular parking lot. If you need special accommodations due to physical concerns please let me know ahead of time so we can arrange “valet” parking.

Saturday is going to be an awesome meeting!! Nancy Sapin will be our guest presenter. She is a consultant with Sulky Threads of America. Her her program is entitled “Thread Jazz for Quilting and Embellishing, plus Needle and Thread Know-How” Additionally, there will be there will be Door Prizes and a booth with Sulky items for sale at a 25% discount!!!

Our business portion of the meeting will be short so that Nancy can begin her presentation around 10:15. This will mean that any Show and Tell will need to be postponed until our October meeting. If you would like to sign up for the October or November workshops make sure to see Jan Smart between 9:30 and the start of the meeting at 10:00.

Hope to see you all there!
