Update on Jan Smart’s Husband

Donna Nicol has talked with Jan and has an update on Jan’s husband’s condition.

Jan’s husband had been in Hospice, then was taken back to the hospital and seemed to be improving.  Sadly he is now back in Hospice.  All of this began around November 9th when he had colon cancer surgery.  He suffered a stroke after the surgery and then developed pneumonia.  It has been a real see-saw for him and the family.
Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Great meeting today!!

First, I would like to thank the many ladies who helped with the tables and chairs after our meeting. Y’all were amazing! Also, food was yummy and the Presidents Challenge and Show and Tell quilts were wonderful!

Second, someone left their water bottle (Propel). Let me know if it is yours.

And last, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year to you all! See you in January!!

Put on your thinking caps!

At Saturday’s meeting, Peggy Caldwell will be passing around a survey for any input you might want to give for next year’s programs. These are the 30 minute presentations that are given towards the end of each monthly meeting. If there is a specific topic that you would like a presentation on, please let us know! We want to be able to present what you all are interested in. Thanks! See you Saturday! Kim

December 10th Christmas lunch

I just wanted to remind everyone that next Saturday’s guild meeting is our Christmas luncheon. Just in case you forgot what you signed up to bring, below is a photo of the signup list (if I did it correctly!). In addition we will be collecting canned goods for those in need. And if you entered a quilt(s) in the Georgia National Fair don’t forget to bring it/them to display so everyone can see what great quilters you all are! See you Saturday! Kim Hayes
