Sewing & Cutting Table Available

Dear Members,

A downtown neighbor was cleaning out her sewing room and decided to part with this table.  It is available to anyone who would be interested and I can deliver in a reasonable area.  It’s a nice double drop leaf table.  With both leaves extended on the gate legs it is 72″ long by about 30″ wide.  Folds down to 15″ x 30″. One drawer for your supplies functions with leaves down or up. Looks like she had a piece of tape or measuring tape attached that has faded.  First come first served.  Email me at mgsengstack@msn.com and it is yours.

Upcoming April 16 Modern Bee

Just a note to remind everyone interested in modern quilting that the modern bee will be meeting this Wednesday afternoon from 1-4 at the Talahi Island Community Center (532 Quarterman Dr.).  This week we’ll be working on our Naedelstern fabric challenge quilts. If you weren’t around to get in on the challenge, don’t worry. we’ll have some fabrics for you to choose and get started. Or if you want to get started on another modern quilt, that’s fine too. Bring along your machine and some fabric and we’ll show you some of the things we’ve done in the past to get you started.

See you Wednesday.
