If you are entering quilts and/or other items for the fair please make certain that you complete registration by Sept 1 so that you can get them to me NLT Sept 1. I will still need to log them in, confirm that each pillowcase has a copy of the form in it along with its quilt. Remember to baste a label on the pillowcase the shows: Your NAME, the NAME OF THE QUILT, and “RETURN TO LANETTE”
Other items do not have to have a pillowcase (1.e. art work, knitting, crocheting, weaving, etc.).

Hey guild members!
A lot of people have asked when the next Project Linus Sew Day will happen! Unfortunately, I don’t have the time to organize a large event right now. The next Sew Day will probably be in the spring.
However, I do have a lot of quilt kits prepared! I also have some fleece pieces prepped for a crochet border. I’m going to bring them to the August guild meeting, so if you’d like a take-home project, come grab one!
You can return the completed tops whenever they’re ready, but please try and get them back to me before December. Kindly consider a making small donation of $5-$10 per top to help cover the cost of quilting.
Thank you all for your support of Project Linus! I’m so grateful to know so many talented and generous crafters and quilters.

Hello, lovely quilters! The wonderful staff at Lake Mayer has made the event room available to us for four Fridays in August. We will be able to cut fabric, make up kits, sew pillowcases, beads of courage bags or whatever you choose. The dates are Aug 2, 9, 23, and 30 from 10:00 til 2:00. Bring your cutting tools and mat, your machine and your lunch. Water and snacks are supplied. And, remember, we always have an endless need for more fabric as you have made 946 pillowcases since January!!! Hope to see you there. Debbie and Frances
Hello,
The supply list for the Mondo Bag workshop is on the SQG website underEvents and Workshops. If you need to buy the grid you can get it at Sew Much More (call 1st, limited supply) or Google it “Mondo Bag Refill kit”. You need 4 panels. The fusible LIGHTWEIGHT fleece is available at Joann’s, both in the store and online.
Please have your 2 1/2” squares ironed to your grid panels BEFORE the workshop. You can also sew the horizontal then vertical seams if you’d like to get a head start. I have a YouTube video that I made for the workshop during Covid. In YouTube search June’s mondo bag instructions (warning-it’s long🥱)
I look forward to sewing Mondo Bags with you !
