Hello, All. Hope you are enjoying this beautiful Sunday. Thank you once again for all your help with making pillowcases for the children at the hospital. A big shout out to the wonderful ladies from Richmond Hill who are making pillowcases and sending them to us through Julie Dobson. Our meeting dates at Lake Mayer are May 9, 23, and the 30th from 10 til 2. Bring you machine, sewing supplies and lunch. We have lots of kits. Happy sewing. Debbie and Frances

One more quick note! If you have any extra white or cream cotton fabric, we are still in need. We have used all the donated solids and blenders and we still have some children’s novelty pieces that need a cuff for our pillowcase kits. Thank you for helping if you can. Debbie Whiteway

Hello beautiful quilters! Thank you so much for your generosity in donating fabric, dollars, time, effort and your creativity to making pillowcases for children at the Hospital. Julie Dobson’s sharing of comments from her fellow church members whose children had received pillowcases from the hospital touched my heart. We are providing comfort to families through something we love to do. I just wanted to let you know that the next two meetings at Lake Mayer will be Friday the 4th and Friday the 10th from 10-2. Bring your machine and supplies, we have lots of kits.

Remember you can put your name in the jar for the drawing when you return your finished pillowcases.

This is just a quick post to let you know that the room at Lake Mayer has been made available to us every Friday in March to make pillowcases or for free sewing. We are there from 10 til 2. More information is included in the guild newsletter. See you soon, Debbie Whiteway

Hi, All❤️ I hope you are still making pillowcases for the children at the hospital. We made another beautiful delivery last week. They are so grateful for all your efforts.

As far as our fabric supply, we have a lot of cuffs and a lot of bodies already cut, but they do no match (think Batman and zoo animals). We are in need of one yard cuts of white, cream, navy or medium blue solids or that read as solid. One yard can complete two pillowcase kits and give these poor fabrics a match. Very appropriate for Valentine’s Day.

We have one meeting at Lake Mayer this month, Friday, February 21 from 10-2. Hope to see you there and thank you for all of your support. Debbie and Frances
