Hi, All❤️ I hope you are still making pillowcases for the children at the hospital. We made another beautiful delivery last week. They are so grateful for all your efforts.

As far as our fabric supply, we have a lot of cuffs and a lot of bodies already cut, but they do no match (think Batman and zoo animals). We are in need of one yard cuts of white, cream, navy or medium blue solids or that read as solid. One yard can complete two pillowcase kits and give these poor fabrics a match. Very appropriate for Valentine’s Day.

We have one meeting at Lake Mayer this month, Friday, February 21 from 10-2. Hope to see you there and thank you for all of your support. Debbie and Frances

Hi, all! I hope you are keeping warm. Because of the road conditions and the refreezing overnight, we will not meet at Lake Mayer tomorrow to sew. Hope to see you next Friday . Debbie

Happy New Year, fabulous quilters! We hope your holidays were peaceful with a little time to sew.

Our Lake Mayer pillowcase days will be January 3, 17, 24, and 31 from 10 til 2. Bring your machine and sewing supplies, we have kits. There is also a free sewing day every Thursday from 12:30- 3:30. We have a lot of fun, come and join us.

We will announce the winner of our pillowcase competition at our January guild meeting and we will begin another challenge in March.

Our next delivery to Children’s Hospital will be Tuesday, January 7th and will include many pretty Valentine’s Day fabrics.

Remember, we are always accepting financial donations to buy fabric, or child appropriate fabrics (no glitter, please) or solid or blenders to make kits.

Hello, All! We hope your Thanksgiving weekend was peaceful and relaxing. We are grateful for all of you who help to make the pillowcase project for Children’s Hospital such a great success. Without all the hard work, there would be fewer pillowcases to comfort children and families in the hospital.

The counting of pillowcases for the competition for the Yazzii project bag will end at the December guild meeting and the winner will be announced and the prize awarded at the January guild meeting. But we will still make pillowcases. We will meet at Lake Mayer on December 20th and 27th from 10-2. (Earlier dates were not available to us). Bring your machine to sew, snacks and water are provided. We have a lot of fun.

We will always accept child appropriate fabrics, solids or blenders and holiday fabrics. Financial donations can also be made at the front table at guild meetings. Thank you for all that you do. Your pillowcase team.

Good morning! Just a gentle reminder to please return your completed pillowcases to the meeting this Saturday. Also, we are looking for child appropriate fabrics including Valentine’s Day and also solids or tone on tone fabrics to blend with them. As always, we appreciate your contributions. Thank you for all of your pillowcases turned in and your donations of fabric! The dates for sewing pillowcases at Lake Mayer are Fridays Nov 1, 8, 15, and 22 from 10 til 2. Please bring your machine, extension cord, and all sewing materials. We will have the kits cut and ready to sew. We are now accepting donations of child appropriate Valentine’s Day fabric, reds, pinks and hearts.

Also at Lake Mayer there is quilting on the 7th (12:30-3:30, on the 14th (1-3) and on the 21st (12:30-3:30).
