Our friend Sandra Ailio died this morning at home under the care of hospice and with her beloved husband at her side. We will miss her good humor, turn of a witty phrase and cheerful willingness to work for the Guild.
Arrangements haven’t been announced but we’ll let you know.

Subject: Person who knows about antique quilts
I would like to connect with a quilt expert in the Savannah area. I have access to a quilt from 1800s (?) and cannot find the pattern name. The owner doesn’t want to sell. He showed it to me and my interest is peaked since I have begun quilting. I will be in Savannah the weekend of the 19th and will have access to the quilt then.
Could you direct me to someone who would be interested in seeing the quilt?

Update on Sandra Ailio
After several weeks in the hospital, Sandra is moving to hospice. Please continue to keep Sandra, her husband and her daughter in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.
