Savannah Sews of Pooler closing unless someone buys the shop

The Closure of Savannah Sews of Pooler

This comes with a very heavy heart that Savannah Sews of Pooler will be closing our doors at the end of July. Dan and I have decided to pursue other positions which will not allow our continued support of the retail shop.

We are currently looking for a buyer for the shop and could use your help to find the perfect person(s) to carry on Savannah Sews. Please share with anyone you know who may be interested in owning a quilt shop in an extremely supportive community. We believe there is someone perfect out there for this wonderful business and we want to hear from you.

If unsuccessful in selling the shop, we will enter a store closing period.  Please watch for an announcement of upcoming special sales events.

Sources to Purchase Wall Tapestries

Hi everyone,

My sister-in-law is trying to find good sources to buy a quality wall tapestry to hang over her

fireplace. She doesn’t care for the online ones at Wayfair or Overstock.com. She lives in

DE.  If you have an  online source please let me know! Thank you!!

Website for pixelated patterns

Ladies,

If you are interested in turning your photos into a pixelated quilt, visit the

website: youpatch.com.  It is easy to upload your photo onto their site, then view

it in three sizes.  If you order the pixelated pattern they e-mail it quickly and it

provides fabric yardage, cutting and sewing instructions.  It is the site

I used for making the SCAD building quilt I showed in the March meeting.

Fiber Guild exhibit

The Fiber Guild is having an exhibit until 12/31 at JEA on Abercorn St.

Beautiful woven items, hand dyed scarves, small quilts etc. on exhibit it the gallery.

Most of the items are for sale and many would make great Christmas gifts!

Happy holidays!

Zoom class with Jean Wells

Jean Wells, one of my favorite professional quilters & the owner of The Stitchin Post quilt shop out West is offering several Zoom classes on different subjects.  The next one is June 11th.  Go to The Stitchin Post website to purchase the class for $15.00 and they will send you the sign-in code for the Zoom class later.

I can’t wait!
