May 11th Meeting

This Saturday is our monthly guild meeting at 1000, with social time starting at 930. We will begin signing up for our July Luncheon and Game Day. Lunch will be catered by Chicken Salad Chick. The cost is $15 per person.  So bring cash, check, Venmo, or Zelle, and start working on your Mexican Train skills!  And just a friendly reminder….our monthly Take-It Table is for sewing, quilting and craft items only.  If your items remain, please take them back home with you on your way out. We really appreciate it. See you all Saturday!

April 13th meeting

Hi Everyone! This is just a reminder that this Saturday is our guild meeting. Please note that we will need to start the meeting promptly at 1000. We need to have our program first this month, because Fred Langley has another commitment and must leave at 1100. He has plenty of time for his presentation, provided we get started on time. The regular business meeting will be after the program. Our social time starts at 930, and if you can arrive early, it would be appreciated. We are also signing up for the 2025 retreat on Saturday, so if you plan to sign up, please plan accordingly to help alleviate a long line. See you all Saturday! Kim

March 9th Meeting

This is a reminder that our March 9 meeting is being held at The First Christian Church of Savannah. The address is 711 E. Victory Drive, Savannah 31405. From Victory Drive (traveling East) turn Right onto Paulson, then take the first alley on the right to the parking lot behind the Fellowship Building. Parking will be tight, so please consider car-pooling with friends. I have asked Mary Bell Fuller to help direct cars in the lot so we can get as many in as possible. See you all Saturday! Kim

February 10th Meeting

Saturday, the 10th, is our monthly meeting. Socializing starts at 930 and the meeting at 1000. We will continue to sign up this month for the Scrappy Applique Class on Friday, March 8th. Be sure to check out Shannon Brinkley and Katie Lewis’s websites to give you an idea of what the class will be about. The after-meeting workshop will be Lanette Edens talking about our Quilting Boo-Boos. She will accept anyone who decides on Saturday that they would like stay and attend. The cost is $20. And for those attending our annual retreat next Thursday, I hope you’ve started cutting and organizing!
Cindy Ochoa will be running the meeting for me this month. Thanks Cindy!

Room to Rent

One of our guild members, Donna Vandable, has recently started chemotherapy. Her family has been coming to Savannah and taking turns to be by her side and help her. Donna doesn’t have much space for her family. She has asked if anyone in the guild might have, or know of someone, who has a room for her sister and brother-in-law to rent. If anyone has any possibilities, please call Donna and she can discuss details with you.

Donna’s phone number is (912) 713-0339.

Her email is vandable@att.net.
