Hi Everyone!
Tomorrow is our Holiday Breakfast and meeting. If you forgot what you signed up to bring, the complete sign-up sheet is on the SQG website. It is under Members—Member’s Post–scroll down to “SQG Holiday Sign-Up List”—click on the link.
We will eat breakfast first at 1000, followed by our business meeting. After the meeting we will have the President’s Challenge Reveal, then Show and Tell. So don’t forget your President’s Reveal project, even if it’s not completed!
If you are attending the 2025 Guild Retreat, your balance is due by the end of tomorrow’s meeting. And your yearly Membership Dues of $30 need to be paid by the end of January. Both fees may be paid by Zelle, Venmo or check. Detailed instructions for on-line payment is under the Members menu.
See you all tomorrow! Kim Hayes
Member Photos
We are in the process of updating the Guild Photo Directory. If you are a new member as of September, or you would like to change your existing photo, please email a photo of yourself or a selfie to our membership chairperson, Lisa Sims-Stevens. You can email her at lmsstevens717@yahoo.com.
She would like to finish the photo directory by the end of the month. If you could send your photo this week or next that would be great.
The last few months have been hectic for taking photos and signing everyone in, so sending your photos to Lisa will help a lot.
Thanks! Kim
Saturday’s November Meeting
Hi Everyone! This is a reminder for our monthly meeting tomorrow at Southside Baptist Church. If you entered anything in the Georgia National Fair, please remember to bring it tomorrow with you! If you won a ribbon, attach it to your item. We will be having the Program portion of the meeting first, starting at 1000. The program will be Lynette Edens speaking and exhibiting the fair entries. When you arrive tomorrow, keep your Fair entry(s) with you at your seat. We will still be having Show and Tell at the usual time following the business portion of the meeting. We are also signing up for food to bring to our December Holiday Breakfast next month. See you tomorrow! Kim
Scam Email From Savannah Quilt Guild
This afternoon an email was sent to Carol Richards (see the photo below). This email is titled Savannah Quilt Guild and the sender is supposedly from me, Kim Hayes. The email address that this was sent from is NOT my gmail account. It is NOT from the Savannah Quilt Guild. We are Not supporting veterans through hospice. The Guild would never try to solicit money from members in this manner. I sincerely hope that this is an isolated incident. Kim

August meeting tomorrow
Just a reminder that our monthly meeting is tomorrow. I hope everyone managed to stay safe and dry through all the rain. I called Southside Baptist Church this morning to verify they were open with no issues. Yay, meeting as usual! Tomorrow Bonnie from Sew Much More will be our speaker. We will start with her program first at ten. So, plan accordingly. She is also bringing items for purchase. Social time starts at 930, meeting at ten. See you tomorrow! Kim
