February Handwork Bee

The Handwork Bee will meet Tuesday February 25 10 – 3 at the Center Parc Credit Union community room 5698-A Ogeechee Rd Savannah.

This month we will be working on Crazy Quilt projects.  If you would like to make the tin cover Cat Allard showed us last month she will have patterns for $3 and kits which include the pattern for $15.  Her supply list at the link.  A machine is necessary to piece the background.  Please plan on sharing machines since this is a small item.  My machine will be available to anyone who wants to use it.  Tins will be available for $1 if you don’t want to use an Altoids tin.

The Handwork Bee will meet Tuesday January 28 10 – 3 at the Center Parc Credit Union 5698-A Ogeechee Rd Savannah.  This month we are working on our fancy embroidery stitches and planning our crazy quilt project.  You will need to bring floss, needles, hoop, scissors and an 8 X 8 piece of solid fabric.  Bring your lunch and stay all day or stop in for a few hours.
