Carol Vondeylen will be leading us through the creation of a Fidget Quilt, designed to occupy the hands of a senior citizen or engage the imagination of a small child. Carol has been so generous as to offer many of the items needed. If you have odds & ends of fabric, notions (zippers, buttons, buckles, etc.), trims, ribbons, empty plastic thread spools, etc., please bring them along.
This will be a fun, fast, free-spirited process. In the future, this would make a great charity project to offer to local nursing homes. And this will be our last chance to socialize at a workshop this year.
If you’re interested in participating, please contact me (Jan Smart) at maxwellsgal@aol.com or text me at 757-334-3907. The fee is $20 which will be collected at the workshop (or by mail if attending via Zoom). The workshop will be held in-person at the Talahi Community Center and remotely via Zoom.
Hope to see you there!
