Tomorrow there will be no games so you don’t have to bring anything.  There will be show and tell and lots of time to eat and have time to get to know each other

Sun surf and fun is the theme of July’s quilt meeting. Here are a couple of important reminders:

Check in at the front table with Jan if you haven’t paid your $5 yet

If you have paid your $5 she will have your 5 tickets for the boardwalk games.  You will definitely want to check out the boardwalk games for a chance to win prizes

Don’t forget your (6) 2 1/2 in by wof strips in beach designs or colors for left right center games

if you have a Mexican train game please bring it so everyone can play. Don’t worry if you don’t know how it’s easy to learn

Please don’t forget the side dish or food you have signed up to bring

Dress Code is beach or boardwalk style or colors  no bathing suits 😎

And most important  get ready for laughs, getting to know the people in the guild and make new friends

Novembers workshop is no sew Christmas ornaments. If you haven’t signed up yet I encourage you to join us. We will be making at least 7 different ornaments. Cost is 20 dollars for workshop (have to pay for the church you know) and 5 dollars for the kit which will include almost everything you will need to create these beautiful treasures.

All you need to bring is:
Glue gun.  (If you don’t have one I’m sure people will share)
Glue sticks
Scissors
Needle and thread
Embroidery thread
2.5 in squares if you want to use your own fabric.  40 for ball ornament,  32 for wreath, 40 for acorn
Any embellishments you would like and spare bits of ribbon

Bring your lunch.
We will have refreshments and fun, fun, fun

Don’t forget your 3 strips of quilt fabric any Christmas color or design including, red, green, silver, gold,blue   2 and a half inches by width of fabric.

I spoke to Rita today, lucky lady is in Paducah! She said you won’t need to bring sewing machines, my mistake. You will be so busy designing. The amended supply list is. Quilt or quilt block, multiple sharpened pencils or mechanical pencil, eraser, scotch tape, ruler, quilting rulers if you have them there is still a few slots open. Hope to see you there
