Hello fellow quilters. I am dreaming up some projects and am in need of men’s neckties. One project requires Christmas ties — Christmas themed, Christmas colors or ties that are predominantly red or green. Another will use cartoon character ties (Disney, Looney Toons, etc.) If you have any that you are willing to donate or charge a nominal fee, please contact me.  808-651-4630  I will arrange to collect them.

At the March meeting, you have the OPPORTUNITY to sign up for TWO workshops!

GENERAL SUPPLIES

Sewing Machine

Thread

Scissors

Rotary cutter with a new blade

12 x 24 inch ruler OR equivalent

Fabric marker

Fabric Clips or pins

MATERIALS

Cut the following fabric 19.5 x 25.5 inch

1x Outer Fabric

1x Insulbrite

1x Silver Ironing Fabric

2x Warm and Natural Batting

Please have materials cut prior to class

May Workshop – Patchwork Rollup Pouch $20

It is fun and not at all difficult to make.
Supplies:
1 – 15” square of patchwork fabric or a 15” square of solid fabric
2 – 15” square of thin batting
3 – 15” square of fabric for the lining
4 – sewing machine, thread scissors, etc.
5 – hand sewing needle and thread for hand quilting
6 – 36” ribbon for the tie closure
7 – one button
