The decision was made by the board to delete the forwarder emails for the Officers and appointed Chair positions. The forwarder emails were the ones that ended in @savannahquiltguild.com. The reason that they will not be used in the future is that it is too easy for a scammer to access our Officers.
Starting now, be sure to send your email to the personal email addresses of the individual that you want it to go too. A new email, info@savannahquiltguild.com has been created for those situations when you are not sure who to contact. There is, also, a Contact Us page on the website that you can send us questions or concerns.
The Member’s List is located on the website and is updated monthly.

The Modern Quilt Bee is scheduled to meet Wednesday, June 18 , time 1-4pm at Talahi Community Center.
We will be talking about our next challenge, using circle shapes. Bring your current projects and ideas to share!

Saturday’s meeting is going to be jam packed with all sorts of good things!! Emily Robertson-Hood will be presenting a fascinating program, our members will be inspiring us with their Show and Tell, sign up continues for the Wool Applique class (in August) and then you will be invited to shop for fabric from the sewing studio of Joyce Langley. Joyce was a gifted quilter and member of our guild until her death in January of 2023. The proceeds of this sale will go toward our community outreach projects (pillowcases and Beads of Courage bags). All of the fabric is priced at $5 a yard. Cash, check, Venmo and Zelle will be accepted. The sale is open to members only.
There will be a Project Linus Sew Day in the afternoon. Bring your sewing machine if you want to participate. Contact Elli Grix for more information.
