November’s No Sew Christmas Ornaments Workshop

Novembers workshop is no sew Christmas ornaments. If you haven’t signed up yet I encourage you to join us. We will be making at least 7 different ornaments. Cost is 20 dollars for workshop (have to pay for the church you know) and 5 dollars for the kit which will include almost everything you will need to create these beautiful treasures.

All you need to bring is:
Glue gun.  (If you don’t have one I’m sure people will share)
Glue sticks
Scissors
Needle and thread
Embroidery thread
2.5 in squares if you want to use your own fabric.  40 for ball ornament,  32 for wreath, 40 for acorn

Any embellishments you would like and spare bits of ribbon

Bring your lunch.
We will have refreshments and fun, fun, fun

Mondo Bag

One of the members brought in her Mondo bag at the last meeting… I absolutely loved it!
I’ve tried to look online at YouTube… Is the pattern from “QuiltSmart”?
I would love to make one… Can someone please point me in the direction for the pattern?

Appliqué Bee Reminder

The Appliqué Bee will meet Tuesday October 24 from 1 – 4. We will be meeting at the Center Parc Credit Union community room this month. The Garden City Library is being used for early voting and the room at the Pooler Library was unacceptable.

There will be a workshop on how to make circles and 3 ways to make bias strips for stems and Celtic appliqué.

Supplies needed are:
Sewing thread
Needle
Scissors

If you have the following bring them but don’t buy them for the workshop:
Circle template
Perfect Circles
Bias Bars
Perfect Stems
Clover Bias Maker
Hera Marker

I will have fabric for circles and bias strips. Irons will be available.

The Center Parc Credit Union address in 5698-A Ogeechee Rd. Access to the parking lot is off the Berwick Market Place frontage road. It is between the Savannah Car Wash and Express Oil Change.
