We are the Barbie Generation!  If you would like to see the “Barbie” movie or would like to see it again with a bunch of your closest quilty friends.  We are having a pop-up social on Tuesday 15 August at NCG Savannah Cinema.

Movie time is 11:20 am

I encourage you to purchase tickets in advance on line.

For those who are interested in going to lunch after the movie…we will find a place on Tuesday.

How to register your quilt(s) for the Georia National Fair

To register your quilt (s)

  1. Go to georgianationalfair.com
  2. Select Georgia Living on the top bar
  3. Select Home Arts & Fine Arts
  4. Scroll down to Competition – 2023 Quilts on right hand column
  5. Open 2023 Quilts
    1. Print and read carefully the directions on how to enter your quilt.
  6. Return to Home Arts & Fine Arts page
  7. Scroll down the page to Video “Step by Step Pictorial Tutorial”
  8. Once you have all the information you need to register your quilt
    1. Click on Online Entries and work your way through the fields.
    2. Print two copies of the completed registration
      1. One will go with your quilt in the pillowcase
      2. The second, pinned to the pillowcase will go to Lanette
    3. Pillowcase should be marked with the quilt’s name, your name and Lanette’s name

Delivery your quilt (s) to Lanette before Thursday September 7th

Tomorrow is the Big Day!

Bring a shopping tote bag (or two or three) to the Guild Meeting tomorrow morning and get ready to freshen up your stash! The tables are filled to overflowing with all sorts of goodies……notions, fabric, books, sewing machines and much, much more.

Just a reminder that sign-in is at 9:15 and the meeting begins at 9:30. The Yard Sale will begin after the meeting and Show and Tell. I know it will be tempting to start shopping immediately but please wait until Kim makes the announcement to Shop Til You Drop😄.

Shop Till You Drop!

This Saturday is the guild yard sale! We’re shoppin till we drop. Don’t forget…the meeting will start at 930, sign-in begins at 915.

We are continuing to sign up for the all-day September ‘Dresdens Reimagined’ class with Candyce Grisham. We still have five places we’d love to fill. We will continue signing up this Saturday and for the next week or two.  Please see Judy Walker if you are interested. It’s always good to learn a new technique!

We will have Show & Tell, but due to lack of table space, we’ll be unable to display your items.

Also, no Take-It Table this month due to table space.
