Merry Christmas everyone. I’m looking for any and all advice before buying a lightweight sewing machine. I would appreciate any help. I look forward to seeing you all again soon. Thanks, Karen Hayes.
Hello All,
Don’t forget our last meeting of 2021! The Savannah Quilt Guild will be meeting at South Side Baptist Church, in the Fellowship Hall. Social time begins at 9:30 am and the meeting starts promptly at 10:00 am. This month is our Christmas luncheon. If you have not signed up for the luncheon, please pack a lunch and join us. We will be having Show-N-Tell, so bring your eye candy for us all to drool over!
There will be a box to collect your contribution to our December Community Outreach in support of The Way Station of Bryan County.

The drawing for the Talahi Community Center raffle quilt was held December 1st during a Hot Chocolate Social held at the community center. The Friday Sew Bee donated the quilt to benefit the flooring fund for the center. Josh, age 10, drew the winning ticket. The winner is Giny O’Reilly who lives on Talahi. I dropped off the quilt on the way home that night and Giny was thrilled that she won. This quilt went to a quilt loving home and will be appreciated and loved!
Thanks to all of you who bought raffle tickets. The community center is such a great place for our Friday Sew Bee and this is our way of giving back to their generosity to our group. Special thanks to Judy King and Marilyn for the wonderful idea of donating this lovely Quilt.
